The food was amazing. The three of us ordered different things and shared. The mechada in the arepa had amazing flavor and the bread was wonderfully crispy and delicious. The tequeno with ham and plantain was awesome. I had the chacapa with fried pork. Amazing flavor and a lot of food (too much for what we were doing). We also tried the mushroom and cheese pastelon, the chicken empenada, and a ground beef with plantain pastry whose name I can't remember. All were wonderful! Also, try the Venezuelan lemon tea. A little sweet but very tasty! Definitely a place to try

Isabella was so friendly and helpful! It was our first time trying Venezuelan food, and she took the time to explain the whole menu to us. Everything we tried was amazing, and it was so cool to see that they also host cooking classes and painting events. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service, location, prices and food items. The decor is nice and very relaxing. The place is good for solo and groups . The food is delicious and fresh. Now the brisket needs some seasoning, maybe the demographic in the area calls for less flavor but it needs it and it can become amazing. Overall a great experience and will be back again with friends and family.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of attending a cocktail making class at La Bougainvillea Kitchen & Lounge (in Bryan-College Station, Texas), and it was truly a standout experience! This vibrant space, home to both a delightful Café & Bakery and a hub for local food talent and artisans, proved to be far more than just a venue. The class itself was both fun and incredibly informative. The owner and specialist leading the session took their time, patiently guiding us through each step of the cocktail creation process. Their dedication to explaining the nuances of mixology made learning genuinely enjoyable. As a bonus, we received fantastic cocktail recipe cards to take home, ensuring we can recreate our newfound skills, and enjoyed delicious food while we learned. What really struck me about La Boug BCS is its incredible versatility. Beyond amazing cooking classes and "Dining With The Chef" pop-ups, I can easily see this space being perfect for a multitude of group experiences – from book clubs and painting classes to intimate family cooking events or networking sessions. Tried this restaurant for the first time today, and will definitely return for more! We had the shredded beef arepas, chimichurri sauce, bourbon pecan pie, and chocolate covered dates. The lounge area was also cozy and had comfortable couches/seating.
